A man was arrested after allegedly breaking into a golf course in Houston and trying to break in to another golf course he’d been trying to get into, authorities said.

The Harris County Sheriff’s Office said the suspect, 29-year-old Kevin Gorman, was arrested Thursday afternoon and charged with felony burglary, a misdemeanor.

He was also booked on felony theft, a third-degree felony.

Sheriff’s officials said Gorman tried to break-in to a golf club at the Lakeside Golf Course in the Houston suburb of Galveston.

The suspect told deputies that he had been “obsessed” with golf, according to the sheriff’s office.

Gorman also allegedly tried to enter a golf tournament in the city of Galvez, authorities added.

The suspect allegedly entered the golf course at around 8 p.m. and was apprehended shortly after, authorities told FoxNews.com.

He is being held in the Harris County Jail without bond.
