The Auburn football program announced Thursday that head coach Mike Mayock has been terminated following a four-year run as head coach.

— The Auburn men’s basketball program announced today that head basketball coach Mike Tice has been relieved of his duties.

Tice will serve as interim head coach until the program completes its search for a new head coach and hires a replacement.

Tice was hired in February 2016.

In Tice’s two seasons as head basketball program, the Tigers have gone 19-7, including an NCAA Tournament appearance.

The Tigers finished ninth in the SEC last season.

Athletics Director Steve Patterson thanked Tice and his staff for their contributions to the team and program during the 2017-18 season.

In his eight seasons at Auburn, Tice coached the Tigers to a total of 19 wins and an NCAA tournament berth.

Trolls, a three-time SEC champion, has guided Auburn to six straight NCAA tournament appearances, including back-to-back appearances in 2017 and 2018.

In 2017, Trolls led Auburn to a No. 5 seed in the NCAA Tournament and a second consecutive national championship.

The Auburn squad captured the NCAA tournament for the second time in three years.
